Color Analysis Quiz: What Season Am I?

By the Skintonic team · SKINTONIC LLC · Updated

Six questions, about a minute. It narrows you to one of the four color families and names the three seasons inside it. Answer in daylight if you can, with no makeup and nothing strongly colored near your face.

Nothing is stored and nothing is sent — the scoring happens in your browser.

1. Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist in daylight. What color are they?
2. Hold something gold and something silver near your face, one at a time. Which makes your skin look more even?
3. Put a sheet of bright white paper under your chin, then a cream one. Which is kinder to your face?
4. Without dye, how deep is your natural hair?
5. How do your eyes read in a photo taken in daylight?
6. When people say a color suits you, what kind of color is it usually?

Questions

How accurate is a color analysis quiz?

It gets you to the right family most of the time, which is genuinely useful. It cannot reliably pick between neighboring seasons, because that comes down to clarity — whether your coloring reads bright or blended — and almost nobody judges that correctly on their own face.

Why does the quiz not tell me one exact season?

Because six self-reported answers do not carry enough information to split twelve seasons honestly. Naming one anyway would be guessing with a confident face. The scan measures the actual color values in a photo instead.

Does the quiz store my answers?

No. It runs entirely in your browser, saves nothing and sends nothing anywhere. Reload the page and it is gone.
